Vincent Michalke (*1991, Oldenburg) is a composer and computer musician based in Cologne. His focus is on live electronics and interdisciplinary collaborations, especially in the field of music-dance. He has worked several times with the dance company TachoTinta, for example composing the music for the dance theater Cultural Drag (2020) and commonnorm (2022). In 2020, together with Benjamin Grau and Philipp Lack, he founded “Hackmeck”, a networked laptop trio that sees itself as a music-generating organism. Together they produced music videos and performed live, including at the Achtbrücken Festival 2022 in Cologne. Vincent Michalke studied composition (BA) and electronic composition (MA) in Hannover, Cologne and Frankfurt.
