Vincent Michalke (*1991, Oldenburg) is a composer and computer musician currently living in Seoul. His focus is live electronics and interdisciplinary collaborations, especially in the field of music-dance. He has worked several times with the dance company TachoTinta, for example composing the music for the dance theater Cultural Drag (2020) and commonnorm (2022). In 2025 he produced music for the project ‘MARS 151’ of the dance company dabdance (댑댄스). Together with Benjamin Grau and Philipp Lack, he founded “Hackmeck”, a networked laptop trio for algorithmic music. Together they produced music videos and performed live, including at the Achtbrücken Festival 2022 in Cologne. Vincent Michalke studied composition (BA) and electronic composition (MA) in Hannover, Cologne and Frankfurt.
